Sterling Silver jewelry will begin to tarnish the more it is exposed to the air. This is due to the natural process of oxidation. Oxidation will not harm your sterling jewelry, but it will make it look dull.
To help remove the tarnish you will need to use a treated polishing cloth about every two weeks. Polishing cloths are only about $5 and can be purchased at your local jeweler, Wal-mart, or other super center. You can also purchase a polishing cloth from us for only $4.50.
Some of our bracelets contain Sterling Silver Bali Beads which have an antique look. This look has been created by the manufacturer by purposely allowing the beads to become oxidized. These beads can also be cleaned with polishing cloths, just be careful not to rub so hard that the oxidation is removed.
When you are not wearing your bracelet, keep it in a small plastic bag or drawstring pouch. This helps to keep tarnishing to a minimum.
Do not expose your bracelet to bleach, chlorine or extended time in water, as this can weaken the strength of your bracelet.
Do not wear your bracelet while swimming, bathing, or washing dishes.
