To detemine a woman's bracelet size, measure your wrist below the bone (where you would wear a watch) using a measuring tape. Wrap the tape around your wrist to where it is just touching the skin (not squeezing it). Once you have this measurment, add 1 inch.
If you do not have access to a measuring tape, use a string and then measure it with a ruler. Or you could measure a bracelet you already own. Be sure to measure it from end to end, including the clasp.
If the bracelet you are ordering contains large bulky beads (such as our Crystal and Gemstone Bracelet or Hearts and Roses Bracelet), you will need to add 1 1/4 inches to allow more space for the larger beads.
Here are some general approximations for the women's bracelet sizes on our site:
petite - (small bone structure w/ approx. weight of 91 - 115 lbs) = 7"
average - (average bone structure w/ approx. weight of 121 - 145 lbs) = 7 1/4"
average + - (above avg. bone structure w/ approx. weight of 146 - 175 lbs) = 7 1/2"
large - (large bone structure w/ approx. weight of 175 - 200 lbs) = 7 3/4"
x-large - (extra large bone structure w/ approx. weight of 201 - 225 lbs) = 8"
For Girls' bracelets, follow the instructions above, except you will want to add 1/2" for children under 2 and add 3/4" for those 2 and over or use the list below:
